Stuck on partition of Debian install, external harddrive, with rebug otheros implementation –
I have been trying to install linux on my ps3 for a few days now. I have installed the new rebug cfw 3.55.1 with other os option on it. I have ran the prep tool and booted successfully into pettiboot. I then downloaded the iso to my tmp folder and started the installer which started. I set up my network adapter and when I when to partition my external harddrive I used guided partitioning. When I started the partitioning tool everything froze at 33% and I cannot go on.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do to get past this issue?
here is a picture of my issue
I external drive is 2TB, would this mean that it is in fact working, just taking a very very long time?
So it was just hanging but the process was still going, I just waited for about 30 minutes and it started the progress bar again.....now installing the base system!
Be careful though. I'm not sure if it's the same with rebug's implementation but with glevland's implementation if you freeze at any point permanently during the installation of linux you MUST restart the whole process over including the vflash methods otherwise it will keep freezing on you.
