Rip blurays with asbestos
Rip blurays with asbestos –
i've managed to dump blu ray movie with asbestOS with debian V3...
1st, i've installed debian(i mean booted from usb)
2nd, installed samba server (apt-get install samba)
3rd, setup samba for shares (shared /media folder, so all the mounts will be shared)
4th, From windows pc, copied the blu ray to local.
5th, Decrypt the dump with DVDfab.
Now, everything is working fine...
hope this helps, if anyone have a better way let me know.
I know, dumping over network is slow, it took 2.30 hrs for me to dump peter pan bluray(30+ GB)
It's not the network that's the issue it's the PS3's drive which is only 2x.
I have Gigabit Ethernet and NFS on my NAS and can only get ~9MB/s while backing up BluRay movies.
Also, DVDFab works perfectly via wine in Linux for anyone who is curious, then from there you can use handbrake or (ffmpeg from cli if you're leetsauce )
excellent, good thinking, so i take it blray drive mounted in media folder and you can just drag and drop from your pc
