    Hey guys, i'm sure this is just daydreaming... but If I were to install Ubuntu in my hacked ps3. Could I possibly install and play world of warcraft in my ps3? pretty sure that's a no but still its worth asking people who do know.

    Impossible, first you would have to emulate Windows which takes ages to boot and for the start menu to even appear.

    That is correct. Unless ps3's ubuntu can't use Wine, i meant to use it through Wine. But... has anyone even tried to play games? Would I be wasting my time trying?

    WINE is only a compatibility layer, therefore to play games like WOW and run programs like Steam they would require PowerPC versions.
