question:ps3 and emulaters on the otheros

i have seen some interesting things with linux like
ubuntu
megabox
pdaxrom-ng

all 3 work on the ps3

but my question is would it be possible when we get the opengl driver and also to save on ram too! what if the psone emulater was coded as an os like ubuntu linux is? would it be possible?

cuss i have a eeepc from asus with open gl and it loaded psx emu with metalgear soild just fine with 1gb of ram and the other pc i had was 256mb of ram and loaded just fine?

sure... but someone will have to build it first....
and psx doesnt require that much power to emulate it.
i run it once on a pII & PIII with a 8mb gfx so i doubt ps3 cant handle that
but again someone has to make it
