So i followed everything so far and even got to the point where it created ps3dd, since i used ps3mfw to use a custom amount of my HDD (i went with a 1/4 of my drive) which according to my calulations using a 500gb drive (which is what i have installed) would be about 125gb, although installed and formated its equals to 116.25GB...
ok so now my question is on step 5 of patitioning (which is mkpart primary 2GB (the rest of the hard drive here.) ) i wrote mkpart primary 2GB 116GB, and after seeing the print on the screen (saw that it happily did create the partition) i thought ok this is the time to reboot with the linux image in, except that after reboot the ps3 now told me to connect my controller and told me it couldn't launch the program selected (which im guessing is vsh)
so now what i ask is the there anyway of knowing how much max space you allocate in parted (it seemed much easier doing it in x86 since i was able to know the disk size and partition accordingly)?
or should i just go on to their irc and ask there?
EDIT: another question there was a alignment warning on the screen, should do anything about that?
EDIT: Just redid everything again, thought screw it and made a 85GB instead and it worked, booting back to gameos works, my question about alignment still stands, for more info i have a 500gb Scorpio Black before they imposed Advanced Data Format (wd5000bekt)
