Hi guys, I'm new here and I have a simple question based on something I'm enjoying a lot lately: cloud gaming. I know that us citizens and europeans (uk only) can use Onlive (us and uk) and Gaikai (usa and europe), cloud gaming platforms on Linux, Mac, pc, etc.

I know that Onlive has some tiny requirements and so far haven't heard of anyone testing in on the ps3 via linux, but Gaikai is working fully on linux/mac/pc since it runs using java. Someday soon it'll even work on LG tvs without the need of a console at all.

On youtube there's a lotta people running of Gaikai in a browser and Onlive works using wine

So my common doubt is: WILL IT WORK ON A PS3 UNDER LINUX?

    Cheers,
    Chris.

I dont see why it wouldn't but how much memory do these cloud gaming apps require is a major question as the PS3 is limited in that area. even with 212mb of the RSX memory for swap and the 256mb xdr limits you to only 468mb of memory in total.
