Nand PS3 vs Petit boot

Im using otheros++ and everytime i reboot (using any method, unplug, power button, type 'reboot' into petitboot) it always goes back to the xmb.

Depends on the method, but if it's OtherOS++ then it's meant to do that.. You can select "Boot GameOS" from Petitboot to reboot into XMB. Try different K/M but you can defo telnet into it when you're at the main Petitboot screen, as long as the PS3's connected to the network.

Thank you..i'm not at home right and i was affraid that someone would say that i could not be able to telnet into the PS3 from the main petitboot screen.

Yes, i did use the OtherOS++.
I'll get another keyboard anyways but i'll definitely try telnet later tonight.
I'll get it closer to the router and get it to the network.

My problem is that i cant type anything.
Keyboard is not detected.
I don't know if i should have the keyboard connected before doing the process or if it makes no difference.

I think you should redo the process with the keyboard inserted. Because I had a problem like that with the old OtherOS++ method,

I cant redo thing.
Everytime i reboot my PS3 it start on petitboot main screen.

I followed this PS3:OtherOS++ - Wikibrew i'm at step 9.
i cant go back to xmb

Can you get into recovery mode? I've had this problem of petitboot being loaded on each restart until I accessed the recovery menu.

Nop...first thing i did after reboot a couple times without success.

I dont if i can get to recovery menu using psjailbreak

Tried booting up the PS3 by holding the button until you hear two beeps? That may get you back into the XMB.

I can try that...maybe.
You mean turn it off(red light) and when press the power button gold it until i hear 2 beeps.
Did not try that.
I did only the process to get to recovery.

I'm going home in 1:30 hour and hell yeah..i have a day off tomorrow.

I'm able to use telnet and i'm runnnig this debootstrap --arch powerpc lucid /mnt/ubuntu Index of /
from the gitbrew guide.

I'll report later with more info.
