Nand PS3 vs Petit boot

Okay...i have my PS3(CECHA01) stuck in the petitboot options screen.
Keyboard(USB/not wireless)) doesn't work.

Is there any method to leave that screen without the keyboard(USB/not wireless)?
Tested the keyboard on my on PC and it works.

well...nobody...i'll try another USB keyboard.
It's my only chance i guess.

I dont think there is from the ps3 but you can use telnet and type in reboot to get to the xmb again

You can use telnet to complete your install , though you will need a working keyboard at some point

I'll have to get my PS3 close the router to use a cat5 and google how to use telnet with windows 7
Maybe i have to install telnet...not installed by default on win7

Well maybe im doing something wrong because i'm not able to exit from petitboot even when i'm using the back switch.

As soon as i turn it on it go straight to petitboot.

thats strange, every time i reboot it goes back to xmb. The only thing I would suggest is trying a new keyboard.
Is it a standard usb keyboard?

this is my concern about.it is not going to xmb after reboot it using the back switch.

I'll try another keyboard as well.

Yep, it is a standard usb keyboard(the cheap white ones

can you reboot it with the front switch, just curious if it freezing or if it just doesn't recognize the keyboard

Depends on the method, but if it's OtherOS++ then it's meant to do that.. You can select "Boot GameOS" from Petitboot to reboot into XMB. Try different K/M but you can defo telnet into it when you're at the main Petitboot screen, as long as the PS3's connected to the network.
