Kboot.conf editing

Hello, i started this thread for all the people that will be in trouble editing their Kboot.conf to load linux Linux from different locations or use graf's kernels or whatever problem .

I have followed this tutorial to get Linux on Kmeaw 3.55 Installing Ubuntu on PS3 - PSHomebrew . All went ok and i also installed installed the linux image and linux headers version 2.6.38 by graf but the system monitor still shows Kernel Linux 2.6.36 Natty.
I understand i must configure the kboot.conf to load graf's kernel. Can anyone provide a working kboot.conf for this setup

I went to sudo gedit /etc/kboot.conf ( i think) and changed my boot to only show grafs kernel when i used the pshomebrew way. For older kernels i went to etc/boot/ ( again i think, i'll check soon) and deleted anything to do with the older kernels and typed the older kernels number into synaptic and deleted anything there. But if you just want to just make sure it loads grafs kernel make sure the numbers (like 2.6.38) are in the boot. Replace them with what grafs kernel says in etc/boot.

Not sure about a working kboot.conf, since i'm no longer using the older method and have since switched to debian ( glevands way)

There are actually 2 files called kboot.conf , one is in dev_hdd0 root and one in the etc folder . Are they to be edited differently ? I tried the same line on both and no luck .

Do i also need to have these lines ?

Default : Linux ( should i say graf instead ? )
Timeout : 100

I deleted the kboot.conf in dev_hdd0 and blanked the one in etc so see if the distro still boots . It does , so i believe kboot.conf has no effect for this old method or i haven't found one so far .
Well i got the basics from AsbestOS 1.5 , further i'm looking into Debian + BootOS
