About LinkBacksHello all I have been waiting a long time for linux to make a come back and it finally happenedSo I installed asbestOS 1.5 and the Lv2v9 patcher and put linux.img on the usb stick. Booted it up and I got linux running now my problem is that my ps3 only has 2 usb ports (80gb phat) so with the usb stick and keybored connected I cant connect a mouse so how can I install linux on the HDD? Where do I put the linux.img file? Please help Thank you
I DID IT DOWNLOAD DEBIAN-v2 and put linux.img in the root of dev_hdd0 (NO FOLDERS) with FTP and fire up asbestOS v1.5 and lv2 patcher your ready to go!!!!!

Yes, A 3.55 "jb" (cfw) is available, no >3.55 "jb" or cfw yet.
Yes, A 3.55 downgrade is available. But not to lower than stock firmware! (What it came with)
No >3.55 downgrade is out there yet.

02-12-2011,01:02 AMdoing better than me there, I can't even get Linux to load up…..i get the Lvl2 thing loaded and it goes to blue screen and sits there…no progress past that

Ok I just posted a thread asking how to install linux on the HDD After ****ing around with my ps3 I did it Download this Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! and fire up FTP and Put linux.img In the root of dev_hdd0 (NO FOLDERS) and have asbestOS v1.5 installed boot up lv2 patcher and there you go
