What guide/version did you use to install psl1ght to compile grafs tools? I've been trying for two days and always end up with errors Can you give me the git hub links for the version of psl1ght and toolchain you used? Thanks.

do you mean psl1ght or the ps3toolchain? The toolchain needed for Grafs tools has been prebuilt for cygwin and linux.

look here for what you may need:
    allps3tools in PS3 Tools - git-hacks.com

or this just to make sure you have what you need.

    PSL1GHT - git-hacks.com

    enjoy

Hi, I am trying to compile on Linux. I've tried this guide: TutorialInstallebian - PSL1GHT but it only gives me errors. I've also tried this guide to: PSL1GHT - Lightweight PS3 Homebrew SDK. But I always get errors. Also should I use psl1ght-v2 or psl1ght.

the directions on the psl1ght wiki are wayyyy outdated. Google git-hub and ps3dev. Download the Misc branch of pstoolchain (git clone https://github.com/ps3dev/ps3toolchain/tree/misc), and follow the directions in the readme by adding the export directions to the end of your .bashrc script. It will be a hidden file in the home folder, (ctrl H will show them). Then put in this command,

    . .bashrc

    at the terminal
Then you will have to put in.

    chown $USER $PS3DEV
to grant write access to /usr/local/ps3dev

    ./toolchain.sh

This should let you compile the toolchain properly. If it comes up with an SPU GCC error, go into the github directory clone you made in your home folder, and delete the GCC.2.74 (whatever version i forget) folder and try to recompile. Thats what i did to gain success on natty narwal.
