help ps3 slim linux

im on kmeaw 3.55 i have installed asbestos, and lv2v9 and i also have the Linux img on external hdd after i press X on linux from lv2patcher the penguins pop up and after a second or 2 i get "ps3 can't access tty job control turned off " what is the problem, i have tried it with fat and fat32 still same thing.. any help would be great

ok after all this waiting no responses well im thinking of 2 thins...
1: They whole slim linux this doesnt work period..
2: im the only 1 to have this problem

Never mind Slim Linux just simply doesn't work, no way no how, iv tried everything cant mount drive and then the error.. something shouldn't be released until it WORKS

Do some reading around, you've made a thread for no reason. There are plenty of appropriate threads to ask questions in and a better chance of the right answer.

I wanna see penguins, can't get mine to stop crashing after LV2 Patcher.. Where's my thread?

It does work on a slim, I used it earlier today to rip a bluray movie.

It works. since you are able to run asbestos installer just fine it seems and your problem comes after using the lv2patcher the problem could be your usb drive.

it sounded like you are getting stuck at the penguin screen. This happened to me although on fat ps3. I was using a 1tb external so I switched to my 2gb usb stick and everything worked just fine.

1.3 has also just came out and it says that if fixed problems with incorrectly partitioned USB disks. So even though it should be properly partitioned it could still be a problem

there was a nice thread on here before the server upgrade. Many people said they got it working on both systems but the forums was brought back up with an older back up before that thread was created.

so please don't dis stuff just because YOU can't get it working. There are many other ps3 sites then just this. Do research, look around, read, try other stuff.

Believe me the last resort was to start a thread... i spent 1 hour googling this and i seem to be one of the few that cant get it goin, and the ones that asked like me never got an answer... i was talking to a guy on mirc and he has the same external drive formatted the same way and downloaded all files from same site so im totally stumped

OK thanks for the link to v1.3 for asbestos that solved my problem!!! im sorry i said it wouldnt work but after 2 hours of tryin i got frustrated and all it was was the asbestos file that was screwey.. after using the 1.3 it started smooth.. thanks every1
