I was wondering if we had write access to the nand/nor while using OtherOS++. I know we have read access to make dumps, but I was wondering if we can do the opposite and write to it and upgrade the firmware to 3.56+ while in linux and have the nand filled with 3.56+ fw and still be in linux to to whatever we need to do to get keys and such from it.
Have ps3 with 3.55 OtherOS++
goto Linux
Write to nand to upgrade to 3.56+
Still stay in linux and retrieve keys?
Dont flame, just a thought

We have read access, and we can downgrade with it too, so I'm guess yes. But in order to get the keys decrypted, you'd have to have additional hardware or a jailbroken 3.55 or lower. And just staying on 3.55 linux won't get you the 3.56+ keys.
