Well, Wutang's CFW has a LV1 PEEK/POKE, and so it should theoretically be possible to patch the LV1 memory to divert the SPL loader call from flash to the HD, and then you could just force a LPAR2 reboot, which would then reload the LV2 kernel, which would actually be a Linux kernel.

but how did geohot this with 3.21 ?
at this point he hasnt any lv1 access...
