AsbestOS + YellowDog Linux

now that AsbestOS + LV2 V9 no longer needs the DHCP trick to run linux is it possible that some one could take the YDL 6.2/6.3 and make a bootible linux.img, Split 10 gig into 2x3.5 GIG + 1x3gig =10 gigs...? or 10x1gig imags like ubuntu linux.

I be very thankful. I would honestly do it my self but I do not know how to do such things.. I only know how to run and install linux via Normal way...

I liked Yellow Dog, it ran perfectly back before sony decided to rob us of otherOS. I was well pissed off when I had to give it up to play the latest games. I'd love to see it return to ps3

ydl worked some considerable magic without the hypervisor access. We had snes9x gtk, sdlmame. Here is a forum with lots of good ydl info

yellow dog is old and not well-maintained.

even more-so since sony removed otherOS.

you guys need a new distro

If you were into ydl at its peak bodega repos were the way to go.Tons of fixes and user contributions. The ydl distro was deprecated out of the box and relied on users to get it working. I'm not stuck with it any more now that linux is operating again.

I like Ubuntu with the Satanic Edition. I have it on my old Dell Optiplex…cool thing about it is, my Dell has a speaker inside the tower and when you boot up the OS, you hear a satanic laugh coming from within the machine. The pic below was my boot up screen

as old as yellowDog is atlest ever thing worked out of the box including wifi...

so I be able to get it back running again with full hardware support untill a real way of doing linux + HV + RX support comes out
