AsBestOs Help please!

I tried, but can't get linux on my PS3. I tried following this thread, but it didn't work: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f119/asbestos-installer-v1-5-run-linux-usb-hdd-80147/. (AsbestOS Installer v1.5 - Run Linux from USB or HDD)

I'm on 3.55 Kmeaw. I downloaded debian (linux.img) and put it on my flash drive. I installed asbestos 1.5, and lv2-9 (similar name). Selected lv2, selected linux, and it booted me to a blue screen. Blue screen on my TV means no signal. I tried pressing ctrl + alt + F1 (and F7), but it doesn't work. So after a few days I saw that it works on hdd0. I got Debian V2, and transfered it to hdd0/. Then I tried again, but blue screen again (no signal). What am I doing wrong here? Is there another step I am missing? Can somebody please help me, I really want some sort of linux on my PS3.

Mine works with hdmi..... You using sdtv!?

Uh.. no using AV cables. Red, white, yellow.

EDIT: Uhh I think that is a SDTV...
