I want to run linux on my ps3 but dont want to give up the ability to play my back ups. i know there is a way (MFW) to modify the 3.15OFW to include peek & poke etc. but is it worth it to downgrade back to 3.15 from 3.55 to use the offical Other OS or is Other OS++ the same if not better.

if you go back to 3.15 there are of course many many games that you cannot play because there aren't any fixes for this firmware
