    Hi need help anyone i have an xplain board now when it boots its starts red then goes green as it should and works flawlessly. But the problem i have is that there are 4 other led's either side of the board that continually light up they move from bottom to top continuously all the time and they are very bright any idea's how to knock em of thanks in advance !

    just unplug it when the xmb loads up. you only need it to boot

    thought it crashes the ps3 when it is unplugged with power on. R u saying that once ps3 is loaded to main menu u dont need board plugged in anymore

    once your in the XMB you can unplug the device

    So, here's the deal. The lights (and sounds, if you push the buttons) are the demo program running on the XMEGA chip. Of course, for the PSGroove, all we're interested in is the AT90USB1287 chip. Out of the box, there's no way to erase the XMEGA chip, but check out hxxp://fourwalledcubicle.com/blog/2010/02/mein-server/ for a solution (can't post links yet). It requires you to reflash the '1287 with a new loader to access the XMEGA chip, then some more software to erase the XMEGA, then reflashing PSGroove after all that. IMHO, it's worth it to stop the lights.

    I Kinda like the flashing lights, looks good when u show ur jealous friends ur jailbroken ps3 lol
