WRITE TO FLASH ON CFW 3.55?

Is there anyway to write to flash on cfw 3.55? I want to customize my XMB like i did on 3.41. Thanks.

I've also been missing the ability to mount flash to usb and write to flash. I thought the Lv2 patch would fix this but it seems it didn't. Does anyone know what the problem is? Do the programs just need rewritten for 3.55?

Im also keeping my eye out for a working copy of FreeFlash / mount alejandro and also JaicraB Firmware Loader or n4ru. I was working on a xmb mod on 3.41 (homebrew category) n im excited to get it over to 3.55.
If anyone finds any hidden goodies please share

Not 100% but the issue may be with the payload being used, i remember having issues with pl3 and ended up always using hermes build. Maybe if someone get a working hermes port we will get our favorite apps back Or as u said they could just need to be re-written.

I'm still not sure about getting the old apps working on 3.55 but I did find out that the newer multiman has an option to mount dev_flash to usb or hdd0 just modify the option.ini to look like this.
# Emulate/serve dev_flash from custom folder (read/write access)
dev_flash=/dev_hdd0/flash
dev_flash=/dev_usb000
Still no way to write to the flash but at least you can work on your projects while we wait.

as far as I know someone needs to take the source of FREEFLASH edit a few things to allow it to work on 3.55, someone I don't remember who did it to work on 3.15
