Would signed homebrews work on a ps3 without BR drive or broken one (un-married)???
Any idea ? because on 3.41 JB it would just go black screen crap.

Would signed homebrews work on a ps3 without BR drive or broken one (un-married)???

I have no problems launching homebrew on 3.41 jb with broken laser but I guess the homebrew isn't signed on 3.41.
We are not talking backup managers, are we?
hi Snoop! I think you can do it only if u have the logic married to motherboard, if u have a new one I dont think you can run homebrews
Thanks, but please guys i just need a real confirmation or something...
if someone is on 3.55 and take off the BR will the homebrews still run ???
(im not talking about dead laser here ^^)
I have a PS3 on Geohot's 3.55 without BR Drive and can confirm that signed homebrew still freezes with black screen.
Does anyone know if anyone is working on a solution to enable homebrew on ps3s with dead bluray drives?
Hi Snoop, i dont have a bluray in my console, it was bricked when i updated it , so i use this FW http://psx-scene.com/forums/f149/blu...-55-cfw-74794/ (BluRay Drive bypass 3.55 CFW)
i cant play any pkg, signed or unsigned, i have the install package , cant go back to any firmware, not even the original 3,55 fw, so now i am waiting for a 3,55 firmware with no hacks but with the thingy so it doesnt check the bluray, the guy was working on that , hope he makes one soon.
so i dont know of it was the firmware or the reason was the bluray wasnt there , let me know if it works with original 3,55 and the geohot fix, and a broken bluray, hope you get more news
greetings
