would cfw allow psn?? –
is that true or would one of the payloads coming out allow us to do it
If that were ever to happen (which I doubt), it wouldn't last very long.

Oh god no. I hope they never figure how to allow jailbroken PS3 to get on PSN to play online. This would RUIN the playstation online play completely. Cheating, griefing and hacking would explode and ruin the experience for everyone, and it would push the "pay to play" model to having to play a monthly fee to play online games.
If you want to play online, buy a second ps3. If you want homebrew, backups, say goodbye to online.
The last thing we need online is godmode, instaKill, aimbots, which is what it would turn into.
Im not saying anyone posting here would do such things (im not saying you wont either) but we all know that there are many MANY people that would.
Say "NO" to jailbreak online play.
I "DO" hope they find a way to allow us to download patches, demos, and dlc tho.
yea i really just want it to download updates, i think i've played online a total of 10times since i bought it 2 years ago. plus i thought u could cheat online without a jailbreak

CFW would probably allow PSN. Untl the next update came out the month after - then somebody would have to do crack the new version of the FW. They gave up keeping up with Sony on the PSP (well, someone still claim Sony just bought or employed Dark_Alex, who was the biggest brain in the crowd), and I would bet that the PS3's firmware isnŠt exactly easier. I have never cared for Online play, bu it would be nice once in a while. DLC and other PSN bits are much more important, though.
