Will there ever be new CFW?

I don't like "solutions" that cause me to risk a device I paid 300 dollars for by opening it up. Theres no reason there shouldn't be CFW released within a week of new sony firmware. The PS3 scene is just complete garbage.

I really hate to have to say this, but you have to be the biggest ****ing crybaby i have ever seen. This "scene" you so arrogantly feel the need to discredit does not exist to server your every need. I really cant believe that you have the audacity to proclaim that there is no reason for there not to be a new firmware within weeks of a new OFW being released...Well let me put a few things straight for you.

1. You are a unappreciative brat
2. If you want something released on YOUR schedule go to college like a lot of these developers have and learn to create the software yourself.
3. This entire scene aside from the initial dongles has been entirely free for the most part...Show some god damn respect for what others do so that cheapass babies like you can pirate games. (Not that im not a pirate myself, you just wont see my bellyaching because i can only steal last years games

4. You really think that it doesnt make any sense that a handful of indie developers who do not get paid to release software, nor do they receive any sort of compensation for there time(which is sometimes upwards of 100s of hours of development) and who have real grown up lives to manage, can not keep up with a team paid full time staff of college graduate software developers employed by sony...

Again I say to you, you are one of the most ungrateful people i have ever encountered in my time with the ps2/psp/ps3 scene. I wouldnt even hesitate to drop the banhammer in tools like you when i was staff at the now defunked ps2hd.com.

Whatever rock you crawled out from under, go back...matter of fact, cut your Ethernet cable right now, and strangle yourself with it...You would be doing us all a favor...

I have a Waninkoko brick that I bought launch plus I almost bricked my current one last night looking for a solution to BD playback loss

BTW I thought you could only flash the nor chip solderless for now am I wrong?

E3 has just Nor right now (shipping) with Nand coming soon, Progskeet has both Nand and Nor coming soon (solder-less)

things have been very slow for a long time. i would say go ahead and update if you like psn or if 3.7x games are out(im outta the scene, not aware if thats the latest). or you can use a dowgrader and play a ton of games 3.55 and earlier. im still on hermescfw but i dont play that often anymore. im a fair weather fan lol

I'm upgrading to whatever the latest firmware is when I receive Uncharted (already ordered). Loved the last two games and dont want to wait a long time to play the new one.
