    I really need to know because as you all know the downgrade came out today.

    It doesn't work with normal USBs. Only special boards that have a USB connection or certain devices (like iPhone or T84 calc).

    The downgrader still hasn't been reversed and made open source yet. We wait until then.

    There will never be normal USB support. The way it works is the devices or boards send a payload to the PS3. Normal USBs can't do this.

    The devices are extremely common. Teensy, iPhone 2G/3G, Dingoo, PIC18F, Aduivo, BlackCat USB and much more...take your pick.

    I kind of just gave you one. Don't forget the clones (these are USB boards nicely packaged like USB sticks, marketed as PS3 hacking devices). Such as PS3Key, Max-Pic, P3Free and more.
