Wierd problem - Kmeaw 3.55

Hi Guys,

I just updated from 3.41 to 3.55 original then installed the kmeaw 3.55.

Now I cannot play original games or even blurays, when i insert a disk, it doesnt get listed in the game tab..no sign of the ps3 reading the disk.

Can anyone suggest what might have happened or any fixes? I have tried going back to the original 3.55 and still no way for me to start any original games or bluerays.

you could try to restore your PS3 to default setting

Or u can try going to recovery mode and use the default settings or other hardcore options if necessary..wat happens when u put a disc inside.. did it give u 2 cracking sounds ?

The PS3 is Japanese CECHB800, I have upgraded the internal drive to 500GB a while ago and I have now loaded multiman and it can read the disk in the drive, the problem is only present in the xmb.

Will restoring the ps3 to default delete my saves and games I have stored in the 500GB drive.

What could be the cause? I was using 3.41 with my Atmec dongle fine and after upgrading to 3.55 the drive is no longer seen in xmb.

Anyone come against this problem? Or am I the only one?

sounds to me like its a firmware problem itself. Try restoring to OFW 3.55 from the Recovery Menu and load a disc, then try installing the CFW again, if it still don't work, try another CFW like Waninkoko's (if yours isn't one of those 256MB NAND PS3s)

Hi

I already tried going back to original 3.55 ..no luck, my drive is still not visible in xmb..which means i cannot play any of my original games.
