Why upgrade to 3.55?

I am still using 3.41 with a Jailbreak dongle, and wondered why people are looking to upgrade to 3.55?

You realize if you stay on 3.41 forever you already are effectively banned from PSN, right? Also, with the newest managers that load the PL themselves, I've had no problems. Rogero 7.9 specifically has been problem free for me.

If you go to 3.55 you can play online (who cares that's what my 360 is for), and you don't need to use a dongle to boot up (again who cares, the process takes less then 2 seconds).

im good with hermes 3.41. kmeaw didnt work so well with my old 80gig. maybe the new managers did fix it like you say, but would that explain the xmb crashes? i dont care either way really, i dont use psn.

I like to be lazy and just power up my PS3 with the Home button. Also you don't have to turn it off the power and back on so that you can start the Jailbreak.

Also Fess, this is Waninkoko's CFW that bricks. I have yet to hear lots of people reporting bricking their PS3 with kmaew, gehot or hermes CFW.

I am on 3.41 using my moto droid to JB. I think I will go to hermes 3.41 because of:

1. having to power off and on the the back of my ps3
2. it doesn't take me 2 secs to jb with the droid. sometimes i have to do the on and off like 5 times to get it to jb because i either press the eject too early or too late.

I'll hold off from 3.55 for now until a new game i want to play requires it. I don't play online anyways.
