Why I'm so stupid?

I'm trying to get Eternal Sonata to work.

I ripped from the disc to external hdd with Gaia Manager

Then I downloaded the eternal sonata .pkg file

There is a readme file to install but I still dont understand it:

1. Install the PKG.

2. Copy all files inside the archive folder of the game and paste it inside the "hdd0\game\BLES00444\USRDIR\ar\".

3. Play the game.

What I do first? RIP game to external hdd? or install the .pkg file first and then rip to usb? How can I copy the files?

install the pkg first, then rip the game and copy the required files using either ftp or comgenie.

Copy the newly created files from the .pkg files to the game folder

Copy the files from the usb rip to the newly created .pkg folder?

I use compgenie but whenever I try to copy a file or directory my screen freezes and I have to reset my ps3

I think you will need to disable the safe mode, can't remember how to do this but it should tell you onscreen, at the bottom

The 'ar' folder does not exist in my BLES00444 folder created from the .pkg file.

Also compgenie is stretched so I cant see all the buttons :/

make the ar folder yourself. another way to do it is to rename the ripped 'archive' folder to 'ar' and move or copy the whole folder into the usrdir in the folder created by the pkg

use ftp if you are having trouble with the file manager

Use multiMAN instead!
