there were quite a few EBOOT.pkg games that all ran on GH CFW. I'm pretty sure there were very few games that couldn't run this way. and I don't appreciate being called a pirate because I run BMs and play back-ups

Pirates are cool. Pirates of the Caribbean type pirates. Not Somali type pirates

My cousin is the coolest pirate I know, perhaps one of the coolest people, and if it wasn't for him, I might not even be here... so back off of them already! Just let them be, arghh else!!!

It was because Geohot had disabled alot of features inside the cfw I think the LV Peek and Poke if everyone remembered he said OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG dont patch lv2 lol that is why his cfw wasn't as big as the others that came behind of it. But at-least he had released a took kit so people can sign pkgs to the firmware. That's when some people found way to bypass his patch i think but I'm not 100% sure

I was so scared after installing geohots. My ps3 beeped about 6 times and never restarted. I wonder why no other cfw dev released one that has been so small in size. 6mb. Was a cool patch to add only one thing to the xmb I guess. Would have been cool to see others do that too. I guess he was good enough to do something, but the others after, even waninkoko did the complete update the safer route.

I am closely watching JFW but I am really concerned about the statement about being able to remote brick consoles not in their official beta. if that team is putting root kits in their firmware and phoning home I dont want any part of that at all. Imagine if that team could remotely brick 50,000 consoles a month after a public release. smh no thanks.
