Who is working on the CFW

Hey guys, i was wondering who is working on the CFW, or who is working on an online bypass of some sort, cuz i miss playing online, but im willing to wait until some sort of a workaround comes along, and i know it's impossible to know an ETA so i wont even ask

I see people upgrading firmware to have access to psn. The funny thing about this, you'll likely get banned right after. Having to go get a new ps3 with no Jailbreak and a new console that you never wanted.

Sony WON'T ban anyone who upgrades because there would be no reason to. People who want to play games online have two choices: buy another ps3 only for online or upgrade the ps3. That will be your two choices no matter what happens because Sony will always counteract the fix with something. It's a tough choice: Backups (and homebrew) or online play.

With CFW or jailbreak, don't even expect to play online (maybe very rarely with high risk of getting banned), and there is someone already progress in gaining lv1 access.

So, custom firmware is likely to be possible soon, but not qutie yet ...
Though, I suppose some people are already working on CFW, but we just can't yet make it fully re-flashed without lv1 access
