    I was doing more searching and I see some people are using the ATMEL ATAVRXPLAIN board to jailbreak their PS3s. Whats the difference between the two, is more better than the other etc..

    I know xplain is a dev board, but just wondering anything else about it versus a standard aVR usb

    If it's based off of Atmel chipsets, then it's a dev board too. The main difference between all the Atmel based boards is, speed of the CPU (not that big of a deal), and space for the code (very big deal for future payloads/upgradability)
