Im interested in what happens, if already jailbraked ps3 which was then on 3.55 fw, gets updated to 3.60 for example?

Could we still use already installed (for example ->) "GAIA Manager" without any problems, and still be able to open games from GAIA same as putting new games in it via USB?

Im asking beacuse im buying PS3 from a guy who did all this on that console im looking at.
He said he did it cuz he couldnt play some game without it. Is that maybe called "spoof", and is it possible to be removed if its making some problems there?

Yeah, you can remove it once you get it, one way or another. You can find almost everything you need, or links that will get you there, in the links in my sig.

Find out what CFW it had, and whatever else you can.

If you want to update your system past 3.55 after you get it, you will not be able to use the jailbreak or anything else, until you figure out how to get it back to 3.55 or below.

If it has a spoof, it might appear as if it is allready on a higher version then 3.55. You can get rif of it prety easy, and do not realy need it for anything right now.

Updating a PS3 from 3.55 to 3.60 will make all the homebrew useless (even the ones already installed on it) they will simply not run. And it doesn't sound like a spoof, he probably had a game that required 3.60+.
