what happens if i update my games when im in jb ?

will i get banned or something, cuz it looked like it went online ? i have hermes 4 and ive tried to update and it all works...

Ive updated a few of my games work great. i only update the ones that wont work unless ya update the game.

I'd like to see some kind of poll; how many people are updating games that aren't required. How many of these updates will actually improve game performance.

I've updated every game I own and nothing "untoward" has happened. I've just gotten the patches and continue to play as usual =)

u mean like when you start a game in JB and itheres a pop up and it says you have an update like 1.01 or something? you guys say YES and update?

it gets annoying after a while coz of the constant nagging so i was wondering if i should update or turn off internet ...not like its useful for anything at the moment other than ftp

I use this to update my games.

PSN Update Finder

Just put the game ID in and download the update to a USB stick. Insert it in the PS3 then goto installed packages and you will see the update and install it

Yes, I hit "Yes" and allow it to update. As far as I'm concerned; if a patch is available for a game then it obviously needs it - so why disallow that?

well the fear is that sony may booby trap the sucker against jb just like the firmwares
