What does mean bluray playback

Hi,what does mean "lost bluray playback"? I will not be able to play bluray movies or bluray games? PS. Do a ps3 fat 80 gb lose this function if i downgrade?d

Not if you backup your PS3, and after you downgrade you restore the backup. But no backup = no saves, no trophies, no dlc, no installed game data, no psn account, etc.

And because you have a CHECL Model, you should not lose blu-ray movie support if you downgrade.

i am using a samsung 22 inch HD ready tv..
i am able to play games thru Blu Ray..
But when i try to play a movie, it says mode not supported..
Does it mean i need better TV?
or does it mean i lost my blu ray play back???
