Not saying the best but i would defo recommend bitsbaba NFW V3 with his recommended package filesQuote:

or click the links in my sig. You can many many different kinds of CFW, from rebug to gitbrew, and the latest NFW. Cobra-USB is also something to look into. And yes, it is easy to install CFW. Sometimes you can install it over your current CFW, sometimes you have to do it through recovery mode. I am sure you will find simple insructions while you look.
Switch to whatever you feel is best for you. Or stay on the current one. Although I do suggest going in for either PS3 NFW or PS3Ultimate. Both are great in my opinion.
