So upgrade from OFW 3.50 to OFW 3.55, then CFW3.55 Kmeaw.

    I installed multiMAN 01.16.11 (full) and Blackb0x v1.2 (3.55).

Blackb0x wouldn't run giving an error, so then installed OpenPS3FTP v2.0, which worked.

I FTPed some of my games (I had a PS3 60GB that YLOD if your asking how I backed up games) to the GAMES folder. Once completed I ran multiMan and inserted a disk. Everything shows up fine, I load a game, back to XMB, but the game disc is still the disc I have in the drive, not the game I loaded in multiMAN.

I thought I would try another BM, so I installed Gaia 2.07. Installed using the "GAMES" pkg.

Gaia doesn't show any of my games on the HDD, but shows the game disc. However, once I exit Gaia and load multiMAN and load a game, the game disc is now changed to the game loaded in multiMAN and all works as it should.

Why do I have to load Gaia (which doesn't even show any of my games) before multiMAN will load a game correctly?

Did u install BDEMU.pkg w/ Multiman? v1.16.* doesn't include it by default anymore (to avoid legal issues i believe), but GAIA does.

Might try that and see if MM loads games correctly.

PS. Does /app_home/Game/ work after selecting it in MM?

    You'll need to Google BD-EMU.BIN
It's a pkg file that needs to be installed after multiMAN.

I take it after installing BD-EMU I won't need to have a disc in the drive? IIRC some game will not work with the disc-less method?

Does /app_home/Game/ work after selecting it in MM?
After my upgrade to CFW I tried opening this but only gave me an error.

How or why would I select it in MM?

Some run disc-less, but BD-EMU lets you load your backups. I prefer to have a disk in, so it's almost guaranteed to load my backups.

    Excellent.

So then, do you know why games aren't showing up in Gaia?

And if I remove Gaia, will it leave the "GAMES" folder intact?

i haven't used gaia since its release, but it might only search for a specific folder, which is what Backup Manager and Open Manager did. And your GAMES folder should stay intact.

I made sure to install the GAMES Gaia pkg, so it would be looking in the same folder as multiMAN.

After reading another thread I can only assume it is a folder permissions issue, which I will look at later tonight.

I found and installed BDEMU and now multiMAN works just as it should.. thanks for bringing that to my attention.
