We can update games now!!

I was looking around some forums and I found a Heavy Rain update which supposedly works, seems like great news to me, this is whats in the NFO:

Heavy.Rain.Update.v1.02.PS3.JB.REPACK-TEAMLWX

Here is the repack and instructions:

- download
- extract
- copy the two folders to your INTERNAL HDD to /dev_hdd0/vsh/task/ (replace)
(should look like this: /dev_hdd0/vsh/task/00000001)...
- reboot PS3 without jailbreak
- run the package updates that will appear under the GAME menu.
(first 1.01 then 1.02)
- reboot in jailbreak mode
- replace eboot.bin in /dev_hdd0/game/BCES00797/USRDIR/
(the updates installing a new eboot.bin)**
- play the game


**Note:
The eboot.bin is the one from the bluray disc,
so this way could help for other games too. We will check it !

Seemed to work, heres a few pictures.. I want to take a picture of a screen showing the update but I can't find it, but when I launch Heavy Rain it doesn't ask me to update anymore.

What's advantage of updating? Not being dumb just wondering if the update fixes a bug or something?

Oh OK,

Ill keep that in my favs, I'm still waiting for my Xbox 360 nand flasher so i can do my Jbreak but I want the updates for the gta trophies and other bits,
