Are we able to play all backups online yet?

Ive been out fo the game for a bit and I have some backups here. Id rather use backups as it wont wear on the laser and the game out.

Last I seen, BO was able ot be played. Is there any new stuff out for Minimus USB that I can play all backups online?

You need to upgrade to CFW. First upgrade to 3.55 OFW and then install kmeaw's CFW via recovery. Once you've done that, get the lv2.pkg file that enables backup support, redownload all your homebrew signed for 3.55, and start enjoying your BM on PSN

Also, any guides out there? IM going ot look now, Im guessing Im better off upgrading my 3.50 PS3, and not my 3,41... right?

Is rogero's BU still the goto? Also whats the best internal HD?

3.55 is the sweet spot now. I upgraded my 3.41 PS3 as it's my dedicated JB PS3. My 3.55 PS3 has never been touched with any JB items. As for a guide, this one is pretty good: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/cus...1-noobs-76406/ I've been using Rogero's 7.8 Stealthed for 3.55 and it's been working fine. Pretty soon here you won't need the lv2.pkg file to enable BM's as the various BM devs are incorporating it into their BM code instead.

I dont mean to highjack this thread by no means, but i been around with out registering for a long time, so just because it says i am new, i really not, but anyways..

i just wanted to say kudos to you sir, by far the best MOD that i have seen in a long time, your very helpful and are not an a-hole to new guys like many others are, so kudos to you sir, keep being great, everybody even tho they dont say it, appreciates a good mod like yourself

Oh, I'm an a-hole when I'm having a bad day, or it's the 10th time I've seen the same thread created in the same day. But, with the new mod powers, rather then be an a-hole, I can just merge it all together and not even say a word because the users will generally get the idea. Anyway, thanks. I appreciate all the users telling me I'm doing a good job. Makes me realize that I'm doing a halfway decent job so far

@BohNatty: Same rules apply for internal HDD's. 2.5" Laptop SATA HDD that's no thicker the 9.3mm unless you want to do some modifying. If you use Wanin's CFW (which I don't recommend) it has the payload built right into the kernel, but if you use kmeaw's CFW, the payload is the lv2.pkg file (yes, that means there's no more dongles!!!! Keep one for service mode, never know when you're gonna need it). Like I said above, the lv2.pkg file will be incorporated into BM's shortly, so you won't even need to worry about that when it happens. Just install the CFW, your 3.55 signed homebrew, and go

Whoa haha so even with kmeaw's CFW I dont need my minimus? its all built in now lol. And this is for online play too? Geesh. And on the HD I was asking about compatibility etc, guessing that the HD's are pretty much allt he same now.
