    Hi,
Don't ask me why i've got two phat PS3 (one 40, the other 60 Go). Indeed, two fancy and shiny decks running GeoHot CFW until monday morning.....I tried to install Waninkoko and i must admit 'there is a real rsk of brick'...results=TWO PHAT PS3 Bricked...Indeed, no way to boot, just ylod, no access to recovery mode...Except having a NOR NAND device, how can i manage this 'software' failure ??? Should i sell them 'AS IS' or is there any relevant solution...? I formatted the HDDs, I pushed every buttons coupl of times, i prayed, i cried but...
    Thx

Did you go to the OFW first? Going from geo to the CFW is a real risk...

I'm really sorry to hear that, not only you who crippled yours, but hundreds if not thousands of people have rendered their ps3s paperweight, as well.
You just have to hold on for some solution that will certainly come sooner or later, in the meanwhile, I suggest that you go out for an other PS3.

could be full of it, but a dude called wanting to buy a dongle I had for sale. said he bricked his ps3 with the firmware and fixed it by pulling out the harddrive as he turned it on and swapping another one in.

he told me this, because he said after fixing it he would rather use the oldschool method.

funny if a lie why he'd randomly tell me that. just throwing it out there.
