Waninkoko CFW from 3.55 Downgraded PS3

I'm having problems installing the Waninkoko CFW 3.55 installation on a PS3 which I downgraded from 3.55 to 3.41 using the service jib method of downgrading with the modified pup from this thread:

Everytime I try to install OFW 3.55 or CFW 3.55 I get a "data corrupted error". I've tried it via XMB and via recovery mode, any suggestions? Also, a stupid question in regards to the recent CFW, are these CFW dongless?

Did you downgrade to 3.40 before upgrading to 3.41?

If not, you have the ***** bug... and you semi-bricked your system

No, I didn't downgrade past 3.41. Excuse my stupidity, but I'm confused on how to further downgrade lower than 3.41. Should I put it back into service mode, or just do it via xmb or recovery mode. I'm getting the ofw 3.30 and ofw 3.41 as I type this. I assume the method would be install 3.30, then install ofw 3.41. Then I should be able to install the cfw 3.55. Please explain this semi-brick, everything on the PS3 runs fine at this point I can jailbreak with my chip and run games fine. I'm just looking to use 3.55 cfw for newer games so I don't have to muck with all that eboot jazz, and if it's possible to have it dongless that would be a plus too.

I don't know. I think you're screwed now and have to bring to Sony repair center.

The system thinks you are on FW ***** so you can't upgrade.

hi.
after u downgrade with this method u need to downgrade during it down to 3.15.
than u can go all the way baqck to 3.55 ofw. but u better reread everthing u thought u know about downgrading in the first place. ur playing around with hundreds of euros think about it. and now good luck

First off, I'm no newb. I have successfully downgraded from 3.55 to 3.41 and have been playing on 3.41 for about a week now jailbroken. I can't seem to find clear information for downgrading below 3.41. Do I need to be in recovery mode or in service mode? I'm not worried about bricking my system, I'm not a complete idiot I've been on the hacking scene for about 8 years and have hacked every system since the ps1.
