Waninkoko BRICK after days/weeks possible?

Hi there,

as far as my knowledge goes, I do not think a brick after flashing is possible. Why would it ? Nothing is written into the LV2 flash (or the NAND at all???).
So, we are on the bright side after flashing was OK?

Hmm, unless Wanninkoko or Flueks have put in a code to do something with your fw, no its not possible to brick a console after a succesfull FW update.

But that doesnt mean your console cant go broke, its just not the same as a fw brick.

only time will tell, an unconfirmed post on another forum claimed that after a seemingly successful CFW W355 flash the system bricked while playing MGS4 but had been fine prior

it's the only post I've read of it's kind though and I had a good read online before touching CFW

if anyone's feeling particularly brave/stupid they could perhaps give mgs4 a go and report back with model/CFW etc

have to say I'm impressed so far W355 installed from 3.41 320gb slim have tested 11/12 games working fine after copying from ext' to int' with latest rogero 7.9a, very stable all around

nice not having to have the minimus in and press power/eject, the downside been bluray/dvd playback is not functional (going back to official 355 restores it so no harm done)

so far so very good, well done to the devs!
