Wanikoko CFW losing DVD and BLuray playback!

Yesterday I installed Wanikokos custom firmware onto my Playstation three Slim and everything went fine. Playing backups, homebrew and playing games from Bluray disks went ok. But today I wanted to play a DVD film, that diden`t work, so I tried Bluray, and that diden`t work either. What is the problem and can it be fixed. Please Help me!?

what does it say when you try to play?

Same problem occured with downgrading...
Could be linked to each other...

Waninkoko need to fix this too

Waninkoko CFW from what I understand is 3.55 Modifed Lv2 to look at act like a Jail Brake 3.41 Firmware.. THat why 3.41 pgk will isntall on this firmware and not the 3.55

so I think you lose Playback do to inthory downgrading.

want it bad that back (Recovery Mode Flash. OFW 3.55) > (Recovery Mode Flash WuTangRza 3.55) > XMB Update Via usb 3.55 Geohot .

you sohuld get all function back - backupmanger support... Once The BM are updated with te lv1/lv2 peek_pook syscel number you will have a 100% working CFW with out the heat attack of knowing you could end up with a brick any time.

So I was one of the lucky ones who didn't brick after Wanin's CFW was installed. After not understanding why I couldn't install packages and reading about the massive failures, I got the hell out of Dodge so to speak.

I went back to OFW then back to GeoHot. But I've also heard that the LV2 fails randomly hours after installing Waninkoko.

Now that I've downgraded, how safe is my LV2? When reinstalling the OFW, did it revert the LV2 back to normal?

I did just try a DVD and am able to play it.

I had a feeling this might happen as on 3.41 with JB for me DVD playback stated wrong region and BD playback would green screen on every payload but PL3 NOUNAUTH

I tried to play Hot Fuzz on BD and it just stayed at a black screen with the PS3s "busy" icon in the upper right corner. I copied over the DRL files from Scott Pilgrim which is the highest mkb BD Ive watched. Had the exact same problem as before. Im sure Waninkoko will get all this sorted out. Will it happen before Backup Managers work with new peek/poke? No clue.

I got my money on the managers!!! I read that wanin just copied code from the original jailbreak and merged into lv2, is that so?

when you went back to the OFW did you use the Recovery Menu to do it.. (if not I would perosnly redo ya steps)

(recovery 3.55 OFW) + XMB Ghohots + downgrade ...
