Video output shutting down?
Video output shutting down? –
Okay, I'm trying to get Uncharted working and I deleted all my previous data and everything. I recently updated to the new Hermes hex and am using the backup manager v2. I ripped Uncharted directly from the disc to the internal drive and every time I have tried to start it, it seems to shut down my video output...
As a test, I ripped Assassin's Creed(which I heard didn't work properly) and it went to a black screen when I tried to start it. This differs from Uncharted in that it was a pure black screen that resulted in a hang. Uncharted, however, looks as though it goes to black screen, but then my TV displays the "COMPONENT 2" label on the screen that is only there when I have yet to turn on the system(thus my assumption that Uncharted is shutting down my PS3's video output).
I'm curious to see if anyone else is having similar problems. To specify, I'm using an AVR Xplain board, an original PS3 60Gb with backwards compatibility and the newest "disc-free" flash for the board with BUM v2.
I'd be very grateful for any help or to know that anyone is having similar issues. Thanks!
