Video output setting? –
Everytime i try playin Folklore from my internal hdd i get a msg sayin cannot play this game at the current video setting? Anyone know what this is?
are you using a composite cable? The game region is different of console? Try edit the .SFO file, check all boxes of video resolutions. I've made it in GT5 PAL (my console is NTSC) and works fine.
Sorry for my bad english.
Im using a regular AV cable. How do i edit the .sfo file?
Folklore Internal works fine with AV cable on my pal ps3.
Having the exact same problem but with COD Black Ops...
Running my Aussie PAL PS3 hooked up to a JVC LCD (US - NTSC) via Component (no HDMI ports) and have 720p and 1080i ticked on PS3 settings, everything else so far s run perfect (MW2, Fifa 11, Tiger 11 etc)
When using Square to check the video res in ps3 settings, Default PAL (greyed out one) doesnt work, nor does 576p, 720p and 1080i both work, but 1080p doesnt... All seems fine, only a 720p tv, upscaling wateva the 1080i, thats all good yea?
Why COD isnt working im not sure...
As for the SFO, I have used downloaded ones from a tutorial, didnt work.
Then tried copying it out from the USB HDD/Game/etc and using SFO to Tick all the Resoltuoins, then I save and replace via FTP and overwrite... its just not working...
Also, when I just do it on PC, like open the SFO, change res and Save. when I open that SFO again, its all unticked...
Is there a way to check via a Hex Editor or something that the video settings are saving into the SFO file...
