Using Ps3break to get ps3 into service mode

Hi
I have a e3 flasher and a ps3break. On youtube i saw a video how they used ps3break to get into service mode..
However i don;t know how. I hope someone can help me around here..

I see, and where can i find the hex file? I've searching but i just can't find it..

also all you need is these two files, be sure to start the program, then insert your dongle and press the update button on your dongle, then load the hex into the dongle.

Hm the 2nd file you posted, is the same as the first one. can you post it again?

You can find the latest PS3Break firmware here, for both v1, and v1.1 and v1.2 as well.

I tried it with the file, however if i press power and eject, the usb doesnt light up and the ps3 starts (after a huge delay) normally. (it shows insert usb cable bla bla, however this is normal with the e3 flasher in this step).
I there something i did wrong, or is it not possible to use a ps3break with the e3 flasher?

You need to make sure you select the correct hex file. What you used was a MHEX file, which includes several hex's. You need to make sure you select the downgrade one, and not one of the JB ones. I am sure it is all there for you in those pages I linked you to. It has been such a long time since I have done it, I don't remember everything. Just go grab the downloads, read the info, and you should not have any problems.
