Not sure if this is something that is known or not. Ive never seen a guide or mention of how to do this and figured it out (what little there was to figure out) on my own. If this is redundant I apologize and please delete.
FTP into PS3 with Blacb0x or other FTP app
Retrieve the PARAM.SFO for the Hulu or Netflix (/dev_hdd0/game/NPUP000030 for Netflix /dev_hdd0/game/NPUP000046 for Hulu)
Use an SFO editor to open the PARAM.SFO. I personally used the one from the PS3 GUI TOOLBOX and the rest of this guide assumes you are using it as well but others may work.
Change the category to HDD Boot Game under the "Category/Patch" tab.
Under "General Parameter" you will now be see the Attribute "PSP remote play" is available to check. Check the box.
Press "Ctrl+S" to save the PARAM.SFO
Upload the edited PARAM.SFO back to the apps folder
Restart PS3 (Important since PARAM.SFO changes may or may not take if you dont)
Whichever app, or both, that you changed will now show up under Games instead of Video due to the change from Other to HDD Boot Game.
Start Remote Play on PS3 and connect with PSP or other Remote Play device
On the PSP response time must be "Normal" if it is offset either plus or minus the audio will stutter horribly.
Enjoy the ability to watch Netflix and Hulu anywhere you have your PSPGo and a WiFi connection (yes it was tested and working over internet)
NOTE:
Anytime any app you edited is updated you will have to do these steps again as the PARAM.SFO will be overwritten by an updated one.

Either way good find.
