I dont have a psp or a droid, but I need to get into service mode sometimes so what is a good way to do that for someone who cant really afford to spend more than 30-40 dollars right now

Two things: first you can go in service mode with grafs tools. Second a cheap dongle could be way cheaper..

Ok so I like the prices of those, but here is a major noooooooob noob question, do I need a program or a file to put on these to get them to work, and if so which one? I cant really find much on google.

You may want to state more information about what, exactly, it is that you intend to do with a service dongle.

Anybody who uses one with 3.60+ firmware is not going to like what happens.
Working hard on UberCFW, incorporating NTFS, sub-free NetFlix and Blockbuster, PSN cheat system with built-in swearbot and MAC-spoofing, Adding MKV, RAM and BIK movie support, and Xbox360 emu*.

*not really. Get a life, newbs...

I only have ps3s with 3.55 and lower. I have lots of stuff I want to do but mainly I need to get into service mode so I can attempt to marry a bmd-006 blu ray board to a 60gb ps3. This will allow it to use the dual laser insted of single laser and since the bmd-006 has a 16 nor chip it will retain blu ray movie play back....I think.
