Hello friends I am new here and I'm planning to do the unlocking of my ps3
Then I started reading a lot here in the forum on the subject and am now more confident in making the process, I separated
all the files you will need and when he would begin the process I discovered that my pen drive is not recognized by ps3 why is that?
there is a specific model? I returned to the starting point if you can help me I appreciate it.

Also, new Firmware removes some of the USB compatability of the older firmwares. Hence, a PEN that worked on a 3.41 PS3, might now work at all on a 3.55 PS3.
Western Digital, Sandisk, and other names brands like these ones should have no problem comunicating with your PS3, even on the latest Firmware.

Not sure if you tried it, but there must be some specific folders on your FAT32 ex. hard disk.
There must be a folder "PS3" containing several folders: "THEME,UPDATE, MUSIC, GAME, VIDEO"

That is NOT needed, acutally. Because, you have technically go into the options for the EXT, and select show all, which will show everything on the drive (folder & files of the specific area you are in, for example, in PICs you see PICs).
substage, which program did you use to format the drive FAT32?
