Upgrading to OFW from CFW –

Guys,
I know there are a number of ways I can do this. i have searched this forum and google all morning!
Can anyone tell me the best (easist) way to upgrade my CFW 3.55 to the latest OFW without bricking the PS3?
Thanks

Format the PS3 in recovery mode (not from xmb) and when asked to intall firmware 3.55 or higher, just install latest firmware 3.72. If you are paranoid about Sony then format the hard drive in an external caddy and then re-install latest firmware when asked.

If I was in your shoes. I would sell the PS3 with the CFW and buy a new one.
Here PS3 with CFW are sold higher than the new ones.

Your miserable attempt at humour failed quite spectacularly. Oh and please tell your mum to stop posting those videos of her and the dog. He doesn't look like he's enjoying it...

Haha, someone's a bit sensitive.. Also, your miserable attempt at trying to insult me with a "your mum" insult wasn't any better.
