Upgrading my ps3 to cfw from 3.41

Hi All,

Currently my ps3 is on 3.41 and i use a ps3key to jailbreak.
I was thinking of upgrading to 3.55cfw but unsure which i should use.
There are Kmeaw 3.55 + Geohot 3.55cfw + PS3ITA which one is best?
Im not worried about going online but it would be nice.
I understand i need the original eboot for the games as i currently use modified eboots for my games.
Also if someone could help me with an install guide that would be awesome.
Or is there a site setup where i can easily grab modified eboots for 3.41 when new games are released?
If i upgrade will i lose all my games and saves from the ps3 hard drive?
Im an upgrade noob so sorry for so many questions.

you would want to upgrade to kmeaw 3.55 if you were going to upgrade it
online i dont know about as i have no interest in going on
i went from 3.41OFW to 3.55OFW then to 3.55 kmeaw
there is a guide on this site somewhere
i didnt lose any information when i upgraded
you will need a new version of multimanager for 3.55
and same for commgenie or other apps on it
also need to go through and delete any game data from 3.41 jb
if you choose to stay on what u have then i have pretty much
seen a fix eboot for every game

What do you mean by "delete any game data from 3.41jb" ?
Do you mean the saves from it or something else.

was referring to the data installed when you first play a game so when you played gt5 it installed game data which was when you were on 3.41ofw and jailbreak with a dongle
many games reporting not working after updating to 3.55ofw but when you go and delete the game data they work dont delete save games all mine were fine after updating firmware

plus all the games that have modified files to be able to work on 3.41, will need all original files for 3.55, as 3.55 need all original files.
