I have installed BM and Comgenie’s Awesome Filemanager and I now need to replace my hd do to stuttering.

My question is what will this do to my pkg's I have installed? Will a simple reinstall of BM and Comgenie’s Awesome Filemanager get me back up and running? Or is there an official way to uninstall these first, then replace the hard drive?

I'm guessing these packages store some info internally to the ps3 when we install these and I just want to make sure I dont break anything by swapping hd's.
