Upgrading firmware from 3.55 Kmeaw to Rebug 4.21 Question

I was wondering if I'm currently on 3.55 Kmeaw and I decide to upgrade my 120gb hard drive on my ps3 to a 500gb hard drive, would it be safe to just upgrade to rebug 4.21 when I'm prompted to install a firmware once I upgrade my hard drive?

Also i don't suggest you to upgrade your CFW.
Cause, if you wanna update higher CFW you must downgrade first with hardware flasher.
Rebug 3.55.3 and PSN/SEN Enabler 4.31 gives you everything (all new games + PSN)right now.
Just think, you don't need any upper CFW right now...

With Rebug or Rogero's CFW's there's no need for a hardware flasher, they both have .PUP downgraders, if that's what you meant.

Yeah I know but you have to prepare your nand first.
Most of people doesn't know how to and don't have any skill to do it...
Just remember how many bricks happened.
There is no stable 4.xx CFW out there...

There is no reason to use a hardware flasher for new CFW. Unless your PS3's firmware is higher than 3.55.
As long as you toggle Qa Flag on, there is no worry for anything. And the latest CFWs that have come out are stable. REBUG REX is what I have been using and it is pretty stable.

Rebug 4.21.1 doesnt need flashers to downgrade anyway, heck you can install CFW 3.55 right away on Recovery Menu without using the Downgrader PUPs.

When I meant "stability" I mean upgrading etc.
Not mentioned in games and programs.
I's not like a 3.41 JB/CFW or 3.55 CFW...
You cannot upgrade without downgrade and it's always been risky.
Personally I prefer to upgrade when update system fixed.
Also waiting new Rebug CFW...

Is it related with Condor Updater 3.0?
Cause they have not created "Rebug999 Downgrader.pup" for nothing...
